Visitor’s Hub Trial

The Tourist Information Centre at Taree has closed and MidCoast Council are trialling a new system of Visitor Hubs throughout the Manning area. The MVHS Wingham Museum has been selected to be one of the visitor hubs. Tourists can use their smart phone or tablet to scan the QR code on the hub poster at the museum.

The museum has always acted as a tourist information centre and will continue to provide local information, maps, as well as brochures of coastal and hinterland walks, scenic drives, markets, National Parks and other information as required.

The trial period will continue until June 2023 ans we are encouraging visitors to comment on their experiences and this information will be collated for MidCoast Councils records.
